"Do you really have to be a villian now? In front of other people?"
Fire Isn't Friendly At All.
"Oh, good, you’re awake. Eggs, bacon, and some coffee are on the table."
(ithoughtidsurvive) voicemail: "Simon Rees, I have called you three times. We have an ultrasound to go to in an hour. Call me back."
Brendan let the machine go on playing Miranda’s message on repeat while he took the time to get situated on the couch. He winced every time she said his birth name. He knew she was upset but he didn’t rush to call her right away. He settled back comfortably against the well-dressed man seated behind him, who was half laying over the opposite arm of the couch with a gaping gunshot wound at the back of his head. His partner, who had met a similar end, was laid out upon the floor at Brendan’s feet amid the bits of blood-covered wood and glass that had once made up the Scotsman’s coffee table, and which had been horribly destroyed when the poor bastard fell and died upon it. Brendan kicked his corpse over with his foot so he wouldn’t have to keep staring at that ugly face, then draped his legs over the couch arm at his own end before finally picking up the phone to call back Miranda.
"I’ve only jus’ got your messages, Mirrie. M’ sorry I didn’t call back sooner. Been a bit tied up with work ‘ere. But I’ll be o’er soon, I promise. Right after I’ve ‘ad a quick shower."

"Cool cellar. Do you have like old wine and mysterious meat pies or something?"
✿ all the flowers duh
But of course~
Me too! That's why I asked you, cuz you seem to like a lot of the not so well known movies that I do. Would you want to play with a Carl Stargher if I made a blog for him? Because I'm thinkin about it x3
(Oooo! Yes! I'd love to
And you can totally blame my best friend for the love of 'not so well known movies' cause she used to set me down and we'd watch an abscure movie at least once a week XD)
Have you seen The Cell?
(Yes! I love that movie!)
[Text] Lovely. See you soon./ Miranda tidied up her flat- washed the few dishes in the sink, took care of the paperwork on the coffee table, made her bed (just in case)- and refreshed her makeup. After all this time and all they'd gone through, still trying to impress him. When there was a knock on the door, she couldn't help the smile that played at the corners of her mouth in surprise. The blonde pulled the door open to see the brunet holding a bouquet of flowers and smiled wider. "Hi there."
Brendan let out a sigh of relief when Miranda appeared in the doorway and with his free arm he pulled her into a tight hug. Every time he came to her flat, he expected he would find it empty and abandoned again; that he would suddenly wake up and realise he'd been dreaming and that Miranda really, truly was... dead.
"I really missed you," he said softly and leaned down to press a tender kiss to her lips. "M' sorry I 'aven't been 'round lately. I've brought gifts...'
