Loki’s hand was shaking ever so slightly, he had grabbed a towel to try and staunch the flow of blood but the damp towel was already staining a bright scarlet. “It was just an accident, I was cutting something for dinner and I accidentally slipped. You know how I like to keep the knives sharp.” He added the last bit as a joke but winced in pain as he pressed too hard on the cut. “I think it went a little too deep. I wasn’t able to get a good look at it, I panicked.” He admitted, hesitantly going for the towel’s edge, not sure if he should show it to Matthieu or keep pressure on it.
