Our reality is heavy these days...so much bad stuff keeps happening that in order to protect ourselves we want to disengage... it is so uncomfortable, so sad, that we even find ourselves blocking and avoiding all news... but isn’t that the definition of privilege? If we aren’t joining in the discussion, and aren’t trying to inform ourselves to try to effect change because it makes us uncomfortable plus isn’t affecting us directly (yet/this time) isn’t that taking advantage of privilege ? ✨what do you think? Healthy boundaries are necessary absolutely...but I hope we can be engaged to each other’s need...to remember together we are powerful. Cuanto más lees, más sabes.
