It's bright and early when she finds him, and while she can't be the first person to greet him ( thank you gai-sensei ) she can at least try to be punctual. "lee!" sakura's arms are fast around his neck, a hug that most assuredly involves spinning, and one she's quite honestly reluctantly to pull away from once her feet are firmly planted on the ground against. sakura takes a moment, her face pressed into him, and unshakable smile pressed to her mouth.

finally she pulls away, her hands still gently squeezing his arms. the strong curvature of well trained muscles were always an easy distraction and briefly she wonders if she could convince lee to wear something that isn’t the jumpsuit... “happy birthday.” back to the point of the matter, the wish comes punctuated by sakura rising onto her toes to press a gentle peck to his lips, cheeks red and bashful giggles falling from her when it’s all said and done. “i don’t have your present with me, i didn’t want to spend all day lugging it around, but i thought you could just come pick it up later tonight.” she tilts her head. “after dinner, maybe? if you’re free. i just thought,” her hands wave a bit and yes she’s still a little flustered when it comes to things like this, “it’d be nice to go out somewhere together.”
