Honestly i dont think spindlehorse making the show is a bad thing? They have a ton of talented people on there and they treat their animators well, and its an indie 2D studio that began with a few people and ended up as something bigger with many contributors, as opposed to a big producer, I think its a good fit for homestuck since the comic had a similar run with it starting as a small thing and then eventually getting animations and soundtracks and everything.
The only other option id consider as better is probably glitch, but theyre a 3D studio mostly and already have three (four??) projects currently in production and one of them is 2D anyways so its probably taking a longer while to make. But at the end of the day though It's just another indie show to look forward to! Its a good thing!!
