Read your Blight theory! Very interesting. You think maybe The Fade itself became corrupted, and that's why it looks like a horror show?
If our theories are in any way correct, then yeah... that might be why the Fade looks like a horror show when you’re in it physically. It still looks relatively normal (as normal as the Fade can be) if you’re only there through dreaming.

People have actually done that to the actors themselves too. It’s crazy.
It’s actually pretty common with actors. And I can kind of see how it happens more easily to actors than cosplayers - when we watch tv or a movie you can make an intense bond with the story and characters so you end up relating with the person you see on screen and not the person behind the camera. I still can’t quite get used to it with cosplay. I actually had a not so great experience with a guy who had trouble telling the difference between a character, my cosplay, and the actress who played her and it’s was honestly stressful.

I think there are some decent reasons not to like Sera but there’s such misinformation, I can’t help but side-eye anyone who hates her if it seems like they just believe every post.
What does Sera even say to Krem anyway? I took her everywhere and I never heard her say a word about him (I always assumed because she called Cole 'it' is why people were freaking).
She never says anything to or about Krem. The whole transphobia thing comes from a comment she makes, quoting rumors she overheard if you take her to the ball.
The full comment being: “Crotch rot. Beats his squire. He’s a she. Has a bastard. Extra toes. What a fun, close-marrying crowd.”
Not exactly her finest moment but it’s pretty obvious she’s not talking about Krem from the context. However, some folks have taken the “He’s a she” out of context and said that it’s referring to Krem. I’ve also seen it characterized as “outing a trans woman” instead of just directly giving the quote. But, the fact is, we never even see who she’s talking about, or why someone else made that comment about them.
(Personally, I don’t see why Sera wouldn’t think a guy who drinks all day and wields a skull hammer larger than his head is pretty cool, but that’s just me.)

2. How long have you been drawing?
i think i started trying to seriously get into art when i was like 9 or 10 which is around the time i started pixeling also. (i am 21 now, 22 in a couple months.) i wanted to draw THE ANIMES and also wanted to do cute art of my neopets. with pixels i started out with sprite edits (like many do) and dolls (again, like many do... this was before the modern dolling stuff where its largely tracing over anime screenshots, more stuff like this - nsfw warning for naked base bodies. oh my god angy-chan hasnt updated in eight years. i feel fucking old).
so you could say ive been drawing 'properly' (beyond like, crayon scribbles or whatever) and pixeling for at least 11 years.
5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?
digital art: fandom stuff, probably obvious lol. fictional characters looking ridiculous. i love drawing alex, and i love drawing stuff that makes people laugh. big colorful eyes. body types beyond 'generic skinny dude/girl'. caricaturey exaggerated facial features. huge eyebrows. i also like to draw organic scenery (clouds, grass, foliage, mountains) because there's not a lot of hard and fast rules to it, it's soothing.
pixel art: anything where i get to do a bunch of shading and wrinkles. lots of hair, big heads, people who arent skinny, baggy/flowy outfits, anything with a lot of surface space. conversely i also like to do really small stuff because it takes so little time.
6. What’s your least favorite thing to draw?
digital art: guns, machinery, robots that arent androidesque (think zer0) - anything that's got a ton of hard exact outlines with very little wiggle room, basically. lmfao
pixel art: lineless. isometric... i wouldn't say i hate isometric but it is very very tedious and doesnt really give the usual freedom i enjoy in art. it's basically playing tetris (lots of quick on-the-fly improvisation) vs sudoku (rigid, formulaic, repetitive) is how i usually explain it. i do enjoy sudoku and i certainly love the finished product in iso but yeah.
i also hate when faces are so small that you can do like 3 variations and thats it lmfao, think old school pokemon where everyone had the same '-' expression
