Too many people put too much emphasis on numbers for the wrong reasons. For example: Money. Money is a cool thing. It gets you stuff. But you know what; it doesn't bring you permanent happiness. Then there's math. Math lets you figure out how to solve problems which in turn allow you to work faster at any task. But if you use it wrong or if you don't learn math, you have no way to excel at tasks. Then there is bills. Nobody likes bills. We move on to counting things. Friends, family members, calories, drinks; and that's all for measure but it's not a measure of your life. Then we arrive at time. Ah. Time. We somehow have become a society that has decided that time constitutes what you can do and what you can't do. What you can have and what you can't have. Too many people make the sad mistake of using time to age people. And the judging according to that kind of measure. You do not know if X person is not worthy because of an age. You dont even know the person or what they are capable of or what they do, how they live, how they love, and how they hurt. You don't know where that person is in their mind. You know nothing and yet you judge based on a number. Now how in the world does that make any sense at all. I see it everyday day in and day out. And it makes me sick. It makes me angry. It makes me hurt. Just because I have this number attached to me; and it's high; does not mean I ca not love you. It does not mean I can't make you laugh and live and enjoy life.
