Do you prefer writing long or short fics?
short fics, definitely--i just think there’s some sort of skill in being able to compress a fic into less than 10k words and still leave people wanting for more. like more than a long fic, a short fic that leaves you breathless and actually stays with you is kind of rare, so i love trying my hand at it. but obviously there are a bunch of ideas that need a much longer word count for it to come to fruition.
