So I'm dmab nb and I'm trying to come up with a name that both my parents and I will like. I like Jen as a first name, but NY mom wants me to keep the "w" from my given name. My parents have different last names so I carry both as my middle + last.

You could try looking through baby name sites to see if there's a name you like that has w.  Or you could have two middle names, so you could have both.  But the thing is, ultimately it's your decision, and if you feel strongly that Jen or something else without a w is the right name for you, that's what you should go with, and don't let other people's opinions mess you up too bad.  Taking their feelings into account is great, but it's your name, and you need to pick what's right, not what other people want, or later you'll regret it.
