[Scary Monsters (and super Creeps)] [David Bowie] [LP] [1980] With musicians like Pete Townsend, Robert Fripp, Carlos Alomar, Tony Visconti. Andy Clark and others, the album "Scary Monsters" is already on a pretty high level. But by "Ashes to Ashes" ,which captivates by its ingenious mood changes, it is catapulted into highest spheres! . Beside this for all times unattainable masterly track there are also other extremely worth hearing tracks like for example the almost even more impressive "Teenage Wildlife" or the progressive "It's no game" dominated by Robert Fripp. Not to forget the title track "Scary Monsters" a track that intelligently merges Rock, Progressive Rock and New Wave and thus becomes a very unique track. . All in all not the best album by David Bowie, but alone by the tracks mentioned here a not everyday, impressive work and a "must have"!
