“Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t just shoot you right now.” Helena said to the man who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere, and who was wearing a very familiar suit.

Mercy was in the bar of one of Gotham’s elite hotels enjoying a red wine on her own. It had been a suffocating day for her with non-stop meetings and calls from Lex about what he needed her to get done while in Gotham, and most of them included being surrounded by either extremely old men that definitely didn’t get her interest, ones that wanted her interest, or others that were coated in cologne.
When she had gotten back to the hotel after such a day, she had to take a long two-hour shower before she knew she had gotten all of the cologne off of her. It wasn’t long after she had gotten out of her shower that she put on a comfortable and elegant little dress and made her way down to have a drink at the bar.
While she was sipping her red wine, she noticed eyes on her. She tried to ignore it at first, but after looking all around her she had finally caught the eyes that were on her. Leaning forward in her seat, she kept eye contact with the man across the room and gave a sarcastic little wave at him before resting her hand on her chin and looking down at her nearly empty glass of wine.
“Now, I could use a scotch.” she said to herself.

It was supposed to be a quick in-and-out mission. Break into Wayne Powers, steal the new prototype for counteracting metapowers that was in development, and bring it to Zoom.
It should have been easy!
But she’d underestimated the security systems and tripped an alarm. Whoever designed these systems either had really bad paranoia, or had some big secrets worth keeping hidden. Killer Frost paused for a split second, the prototype weighing heavily in her hands. She could run now, possibly get away without confronting any guards, or she could further investigate, and see what she could find.
Deciding that losing the prototype was too big a risk (she dreaded to think what Zoom would do if she didn’t return with it), she ran for the exit.

“Supergirl reporting for duty.”
It was her first day with the Justice League, and though she was unsure of what exactly she needed to do, she was eager to help the team protect the world. With a serious look on her face to show that she meant business, even though she was new to the whole superhero thing, she tried to contain her excitement of being part of the group.
“So...who’s in charge?”

“ So, like, are you new or do you just have a death wish? I mean, sure, Star City isn’t Gotham, but come on. It’s not exactly the best idea to be out and about after dark around here. You’re lost, maybe? ”
“How many COPY-BATS do we really need? What ever happened to the good ol’ ORIGINAL?”
“ . . . D’ya have a li’l Robin too?”
