There are a number of variations on this song, and here is what I believe matches what is presented in this version. The song is a traditional folk lullaby from Kyūshū, specifically the town Itsuki in the Kumamoto Prefecture, and is somewhat heavy in the dialect of that area. Since I cannot give furigana here, readers of Japanese who are unfamiliar with this dialect should look to the transliteration and/or my references to assist with proper readings. It was strange for her to be trying to lull to sleep an adult like this. Hell, more than an adult, a Shinigami. But the truth is, a drunk adult is not very different from a child. So when Retsu carried back the older woman to her bed, and was requested a lullaby, she hardly even thought twice. It’s been awhile since she’s sang one. The last request she’s gotten was from her younger sister, Sarah, and of course—that was months ago. But she sang to her almost every night, so hopefully she’s at least retained some of that. She clears her throat.

This is a catchy, somewhat dreamy remix of the Japanese "Itsuki Lullaby" featuring my vocals as the background, and backtrack composed by "Koji" from France. More treble was added to my voice, but you get to hear how it really sounds when the song comes to a close. I'd appreciate if you checked it out.
