It’s been slow going but I wrote a little sequel to this. Guest staring @thesakuradoll‘s Iuda and @iseektheholygrail‘s Etienne.

Mina reemerged in the upper courtyard a while later. Etienne was still hard at work instructing his pupils; currently engaged in demonstrating a proper stance to one of them. She took a seat on a nearby crate, content to watch for a while. That's when one of the other students caught her eye as he paused from training to push his hair out of his eyes. His face was one that was too beautiful to truly forget but she did look it over for a minute in case she needed reminding. The staring caught his attention and he met her gaze.

"You look familiar,” she called to him,  “have I robbed you before?"

He momentarily cocked his head in confusion until recognition suddenly flickered in his eyes and he grinned. "You did a lot more than that, my dear. I'm a bit offended you don't remember the rest."

Mina broke into a slow smile. "Relax Skallagrim. I remember. Just wanted to see if you did. Been years, hasn't it?"

He approached the crate and leaned against the rough stonework wall of the Herald’s rest. “Yes, and I haven’t been to Ostwick since.”

“Oh really? Did my pickpocketing scare you off?”

Iuda laughed. “Not at all, events have just taken me elsewhere. Frankly my dear, I’m quite surprised to see you out of Ostwick. I thought you said you didn’t like to travel.”

“I’m getting used to it. Though I’m not on the road much anymore. I’m living in Kirkwall for the most part,” she explained.

“My condolences.”

“Oh it’s not as bad as everyone thinks.”

“This asshole bothering you Mina?” Etienne cut in as he walked over, having finished up with his students.

“We’re just catching up,” Iuda replied, giving one of his infuriatingly smug grins. “Why the concern? Afraid of some competition?”

Mina and Etienne gave near identical disgusted nose wrinkles at the implication. “She’s my sister you idiot.”

Iuda raised an eyebrow. “Is that so?”

“I’m his half-sister, but yeah. Don’t make this weird Iuda.”

“Pfft that’s practically his specialty.”

“And usually people like it when I make things weird.” He winked. “But my observation stands; she could be competing with you for me.”

“Sorry but Etienne’s welcome to have you,” Mina returned matter-of factly.

Iuda feigned severe insult. “But my dear I thought we left on such good terms.

“Oh we did. But there’s someone else. And he has a title, so I’m afraid you really can’t compete.” She grinned wryly.

“I’d argue that’s not true,” Iuda countered smugly, “But regardless, I wish you every happiness with your titled gentleman. And I’m sure your brother will be thankful for one less competitor for my attention.”

Meanwhile, Etienne was near-audibly grinding his teeth in annoyance in the background of this exchange.

Mina giggled. “Etienne do try and lighten up. He’s not so bad once you get past the ego.”

Iuda puffed up smugly. “It’s true, I’m not.”

“Mina stop befriending everyone,” Etienne shot back ignoring Iuda.

“Never.”

💦At what age did my muse lose their virginity?

16, to a girl the same age. He didn’t feel anything for her, but he wanted to get it out of the way. That way he knew what he was doing when it came to someone he actually cared about. Unfortunately, that became a habit.

💕Would my muse ever be in a polyamorous relationship?

Unlikely. Despite his lifestyle, it’s never come up. Iuda doesn’t feel romantic attraction easily, so actual relationships are hard to come by for him. That being said, if he fell for two people who also fell for each other, it wouldn’t be an issue for him. His problem is that romanticism is rare for him on the best of days.

👮Has my muse ever had sex in public?

Yes. Of course he has. He enjoys the thrill of getting away with it without anyone noticing. It’s a power play, more than anything; he can persuade his partner to be quiet and careful whilst still enjoying himself and themselves. 

💝 Does my muse like Valentine’s Day?

It depends. If he’s in an actual/serious relationship (so Iuda x West) he loves it. It’s an excuse to spend money and treat his partner that otherwise he’d feel a bit uncomfortable doing. Some people don’t like being spoiled the way Iuda shows affection - all he knows is that money can buy anything that people like - so when he’s with someone who just wants affection, he can be a little “off” if he isn’t as invested in them.
