A few weeks ago I betaread for Xinette and her work Bildungsroman! It's a story that begins with Ludwig waking up after a car crash kills everyone but him, including the son of his foster mother. At first, he must deal with the blame set on him by the family's grief - a hostile environment when you were supposed to graduate the same year and move onto college - but after a trip to Spain for an immersion program things quickly start to fall apart in an entirely way.
