This photo was taken while I was deep in thought... the photographer captured it without my knowledge I am going through images and it sparked some thoughts I want to share. Now I know most of you would not read this but hey those of you who do I hope it strikes up a conversation or make you realise you are not alone..... EDUCATIONAL is definitely the word I would use to describe 2015. They were a lot of lessons....lessons of learning me, learning people around me, learning about family , learning to let go of things I cannot change, learning to accept people for who they are, learning to be at peace, learning to not let life experiences chabge who I am, learning that it is ok to say that I am not ok. I don't proclaim to have all the answers or to be better than anyone else just to be the best me I can be. There was a time when I was 12 years old never thought I would live to be 18.... ever been through something and wonder what the hell?.... or you cry to the point you can feel your heart ache? Oh here is another one you feel so drained that you just want to go into a deep slumber and not wake up? Then there comes a point in your life that no matter what obstacles you face you have that aha moment that is like you know what these were all challenges to prepare me for this. I had a chat with someone recently and we were discussing how people see your exterior but have no idea the battles you face inside. I personally believe the reason is it because it seems taboo not to talk about depression or probably the idea of having society think you have it altogether. Just make sure you have that sounding board whether it be prayer, a friend, family member or a good ol notebook/diary. A small moment of weakness or laspe in judgment can seal one's fate. I started 2015 with one goal in mind to LET GO of the past and be at peace with it also to start a new journey (a bit of a rocky start but).... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED #IveAcceptedImAGoodPerson
