This ask has been sitting here for a while sorry Dr.Anon... There’s an old post on my blog going over his backstory but I changed most of it so don’t refer to it, false information, but for u and anyone new, what i do have solidly is this much

He’s a gay elderly wizard originally from faerieland who now lives in the lightning swamp of the haunted woods, a place referenced by the brain tree sometimes that I Yoinked and have decided is a secluded swampy patch full of static electricity lookin magic that acts as a barrier for most people & powers all the enchanted mechanisms in his cabin (its free magic)

He can switch back and forth between Ivmunt (checkered old man) and Cooler Ivmunt (6 foot tall mutant) by deactivating/removing the sealing gem on his necklace. He has full control over himself in his mutant form, he’s just a little more confident and pretty manic! Also, depending on how his guests BEHAVE, he’s actually way more personable when he’s unhinged.

He was semi-permanently mutated/Metaphysically Cracked Open Like A Geode using information he and his partner gained as part of their thesis on neopian biology, All Neopians Are Fundamentally Made Of Magic Energy And I Think We Should Go Back To That .

The details of all of this- how it happened, their prior experiments, their employer- are foggy and he doesn’t really talk about it, His partner went missing and presumably died at some point. He’s considered a criminal by Fyora though this information isn’t public & his self-exile/retirement to the haunted woods has rendered him “presumably dead” too!

He likes to teach people & would like to give you a lecture over a cup of coffee. he likes to listen to rock and roll
