Heyhey the official origin story of how neopet species came to be is that faerie magic made Dr. Sloth's mutant creations into neopets.

Is that (one reason) why neopet children are difference species from their parents? Maybe Neopet genetics are inherently mutant, and it's the presence of faerie magic that makes baby neopets into a specific species?

So last “night” I had a dream that a Blumaroo jumped way up high & got hit in the face by a flying paintbrush, changing his color as a result. It turned from red to what I presume is an exclusive Alien Blumaroo. It had a pomegranate color, a few wrinkles here & there, & wore small yet bulky goggles. It then proceeded to work on a blueprint, & then I woke up realizing I slept for two hours after turning my alarm off.
