hi I can’t remember if I already sent you an ask and my apologies if I did but how do you know if you’re a vampire alterhuman? I have suspicions of myself…

no worries at all ^_^ ask away honestly! but uhhh, as for your question, i’m actually not all that informed on the whole alterhuman thing myself?

i have seen myself as a vampire since i was a young teen. i started using the vampire alterhuman tag upon joining tumblr and learning about it just because it’s an easy way to reach other people who see themselves as one. i don’t know all the specifics of what being alterhuman / otherkin entails, so i just want to preface that in case i word things wrong in relation to those terms specifically v__v. feel free to correct me or explain them more to me if you’re a random alterhuman reading this lolol.

now! how did i know i was a vampire? it’s honestly been so long i don’t recall the initial signs, but! here are some that i experience:

does hunger for blood/energy speak to you as metaphor for some of your own struggles? (for me, it’s heavily tied to the feeling of forbidden desire. wanting to be selfish and devour all of something, but knowing i shouldn’t because it’ll destroy what i loved.)

do you feel like an outsider in some way? as though there is something wrong with you specifically that you have to hide lest others find out? it can result in defense mechanisms such as isolating yourself, or learning people so well that you blend in even though your interactions feel superficial. either way, that lack of “true” connection eats at you, but the fear of someone seeing who you truly are keeps you from pursuing it.

do you ever feel like you’re constantly taming yourself? like if you let yourself want too much, love too much, or need too much, you’d snap and consume everything in reach, leaving yourself alone with the wreckage?

does the concept of “feeding” resonate as taking what you need emotionally, whether it be reassurance, closeness, or validation, but fearing you’ll drain the people you care about if you ask for it outright?

now this one is silly, but a very real experience of mine. 😭 do your teeth feel wrong? when you go to bare your smile, does it feel like something is missing? do you find yourself grinding your teeth a lot or mindlessly biting the air at times?

other examples might be a preference for nighttime or darkness, feeling like your “true self” is slightly separate from your physical body, a fascination with veins, pulse, or the symbolism of blood, and feeling debilitatingly intense emotions that are hard to manage, etc.

if anyone else can think of more examples or corrections for mine, feel free to share ^_^ this is something i’d love to discuss with others!

Now please help this confused girly here 🤔... So Great can see 4 minutes into the future. So how come he saw himself and Tyme in bed together?!??

I think there are some possibilities:

First, they knew each other from before and I missed something. or

this is their first meeting and they will be so attracted to each other that they will jump in bed together (which sounds ridiculous).

or

maybe Tyme and Great are somehow spiritually connected (they both had accidents on the same night, shown at the very beginning of the episode). And because this spiritual connection Great can see moments from their future together (not ones that will happen in 4 minutes, but whenever).
