So I just watched this animated movie on Netflix thinking it would be another cheesy story... but it was much better that I expected. Gorgeous animation, gorgeous art, gorgeous characters and a lot of emotion put into it perhaps it made me cry more than once haha. I loved it and I fell in love with these two so I just had to draw them. 💚
All the movie is so beautiful but the babies of all the species are SO DAMN cute!

Just watched Swapped, and I haven’t felt this way about an animated movie in a while. So so so amazing, genuinely such a beautiful film about empathy and community 💕 Please go watch it!

Javan!Bonnie, after Ivy explains how young Javans learn to fly (AKA "Flap or Splat"): B-But that's so barbaric! Imagine if humans did that with their babies!
Ivy: Well, from what you've told me, humans can't fly, so our way doesn't apply.
Bonnie: Whatever! We teach them how to stand and walk, not by throwing them off a cliff or something and hoping they don't die!
Ivy: In your case, they would die regardless.
