This is pretty damn close to the worst birthday I have ever had. My aunt’s dog (who was my soulmate and pretty much mine) was found dead in a ditch, the only family I like cancelled plans on me, and the transmission blew on my car. I’m so fucking stressed right now because I rely on that to get back and forth to college. It was my only means of transportation. It would cost more than the car is worth to fix it so I’m just trying to get some bus passes to get me through until my next student loan disbursement in January.

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I sunk all my money into trying to repair the damn thing and towing bills and mechanic fees. And now I’m broke as fuck and I have 7 weeks left in the semester, I can’t fuck this up. I have a 4.0 to hold down.

Switching CNA classes

At first I was just going to go to Ivy Tech for their CNA program, but then my mom found Easterseals. They are more disability-friendly, I like their schedule more, and I can get testing accommodations. It starts June 1st. I’m just waiting for vocational rehab to pay, and they take their sweet time. I went ahead and started homework so it’s done when class starts.

Picking Up Forms

In June I’m planning to take the CNA class again, because I couldn’t get my TB test on time. I’m sort of looking forward to it because I’d love that job. Upsetting News

I needed to postpone taking the CNA class because of the delay in getting my second TB test, which meant I would miss orientation and clinicals. I told my vocational rehab counselor, and she let me know that vocational rehab will not pay for a second time. I have no way of paying, so I cannot become a CNA. I had one little bit of hope, and it’s been dashed. I am broken in a way I never thought…
