Another track. Another duet. And this one happens to be a cover (I ❤️ covers) song of #JonathanLee’s famous song “I Crossed Over the Ocean to See You” and lives up to its name by conveying a literal sway and drift, as if on the open sea. However, I find this drama rendition has a breezier, leisurely feel, rather than the longing and introspection of the original. Lyrically this track reads much like a poem in a memoir; so beautiful and poignant. If you ever get a chance, please take a read. #AcrosstheOceantoSeeYou, the show, actually depicted one of my favorite male leads this year.
