2017....the year of fertility

This is the year we have decided to go back to the fertility clinic. On Jan 19,2017 we went to the clinic. They did bloodwork. We are going to get testing completed on my next cycle. I have to get the biopsy completed again as well as the sonohysterogram. Husband gets to do the easy part. Semen analysis. Three years ago we did the testing and I was fine. This time I am worried. My periods have been shorter and not has heavy. I'm older now. What if we both have issues now?!? This is the year we try. IUI, IVF. Anything. This is the year we get pregnant again or we know that we won't be parents without adoption. This is the year.

We decided to use an egg donor. The whole process happened pretty quickly.

They retrieved 10 eggs, 9 fertilized and by the end of day 6 we had 6 embryos.

The embryo are now frozen and waiting for transfer

Today's the Day....

Just got my two week blood work taken. Will find out later if I'm pregnant or not. Should get the call before noon. I'll be shocked if it works but also shocked if it didn't.

I can't wait to experience pregnancy, I want to be a mom so bad. I'm going to be such a good momma someday ♡

A year has passed

A year has passed. A year has passed since we found out our baby was ectopic. A year ago we had to make the decision to get the methotrexate shot that ends the babies life. A year has passed and my heart still has not healed. Thinking about my angel baby brings tears to my eyes and causes an ache in my heart that I cannot escape from. I lost my baby only 7 1/2 weeks into pregnancy but for those couple of weeks, I was someone's mom. RIP angel baby. I loved you without knowing you. :(

I can't do this....

I can't do this anymore. I am so tired of getting my hopes up that this might be my month. My period was over a week late this time. I was just starting to believe that I could be pregnant. But of course not. Today my period has started. Leaving me bawling in my car on the way to buy tampons. I can't do this anymore. It's breaking my heart.

Final kick....

Counting my cycle days. I should ovulate on the day that I was supposed to be giving birth. Life has a sick sense of humour.

Slashed hopes.....

Well my period was late but looks like it has now arrived. Guess it was to good to be true. It's so disheartening for me and my husband. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
