Afterthought

"something that is thought of, or added, later."

I was added in later. After the marriage and the kids. After the divorce...

Most of the time, I'm ok with everything. Most of the time, I can deal with it.

But every now and again, the feelings of being second to everything takes over and leaves me debilitatingly overwhelmed, insecure and sad. 

So when I get like this, please don't misunderstand me. I just need you to show me that I'm important to you when I'm feeling invisible.

And sometimes it might not make sense at the time why i'm feeling invisible. Sometimes I don't know why I feel like this also. Just grab me and hold onto me because this is when I need you the most.
