hehehehehehe okay so I’m still just barely thinking about this but heres some (disjointed) thoughts:

ive long held that iwa and daichi are college roomies their freshman year! I tend to see them and suga as going to sendai university (at least until iwa transfers to cali bc I’m still for sure on that) and its really. not a stretch to imagine them being gay together, esp since I think theyre both going thru their 'oh my god I’m gay' crises at the same time in early college

I’m also OBSESSED w gossip friends iwa and suga, and iwa dealing w oikawa moving to argentina has really sealed the college besties iwasuga deal for me.... suga fills the 'pretty gossipy nosy friend' shaped hole in iwas heart :,) and since iwa realized he was in love w oikawa right before oikawa moved away I think that maybe hes quick to act on it when he realizes hes feeling similarly towards suga 😳

suga I think has known he had a crush on daichi for a while by that time but kinda gives up by early college.... and daichi's new roomie is kinda hot uknow?? but daichi is also suddenly flirty too and oikawa (setter friends hehehe) keeps calling him to talk about feelings and its all such a mess 😭 he loves them all sm tho :,)

daichi's so overwhelmed by realizing he's gay and in love w suga and also finding iwa really hot that by the time he hangs out w oikawa and notices that he's actually gorgeous and hilarious he's like 'okay 🫣' akshdhdh like daichis going thru a lot but he's here for the ride

I dooo still love iwaoi taking wayyy too long to get their shit together.... I think that would tie in as iwa having like. a toonn of fun w daisuga and them basically being like 'hey were gonna date, ur welcome to join anytime' and iwa saying 'thanks, but I gotta work out shit w oikawa before anything else'

I think when iwaoi get together (post oikawa retirement theyre so SLOW about it) they have some honeymoon time where its just them? but theyre both kinda like 'wow I like daisuga too and idk how to tell him' about it aksjsj theyre DUMB

daisuga solves this problem by bringing them on double dates and flirting w them both aggressively until theyre forced to admit their feelings :,) daichi feels very superior about his emotional intelligence when he absolutely shouldnt, iwaoi is a low low bar and he just BARELY beats them ajdhdjshdh

anyway I think they tear it up at the club!! slowly rotating them in my brain havent quite figured out everything about them yet but hehehehehehehe

iwaoidaisuga hc that oisuga share their ler modes and when they do they tease daichi the whole day, give him ticklish kisses on his neck or jab his side when they pass him because they know it drives both, daich AND iwa up the wall. daichi because he doesn't get really tickled and iwa because he doesn't get tickled at all and he's too stubborn to ask for it! If he asks them until evening nevertheless, oisuga will wreck iwadai, if not they'll slowly tease them into asking for it

Like, as you say, they do little things like kissing Daichi's neck or tickling his sides or even launching a full on attack RIGHT beside Iwa while they're cuddling in the couch just to make him admit that he also wants it!
