"you dumbass!"
tadashi figured he knew what to expect when he heard their voices. but whatever it was, it's definitely not whatever renaissance painting is happening on his doorstep.
hinata clings onto kageyama's back, arms wrapped around him in a headlock. yacchan has a hand on his back to steady him while the other holds her phone, thumb frantically tapping out a text. and then there's kageyama, his round cheeks tinged pink with exertion, looking like he'd rather be anywhere but here. their heads swivel in unison when tadashi clears his throat.
"um... happy new year?"
"happy new year, captain!" hinata greets. he hops off kageyama's back and drags him over the threshold into tadashi's home. "he's your problem now."
"wha—"
stepping past him, hinata makes his way into the living room and pounces on an unsuspecting tsukki. "oi, tsukishima, yacchan and i are going ahead. come with!"
"ha? why would i—"
"because for someone with obnoxiously long legs, it takes you forever to go anywhere, so come on."
it takes a lot of tugging, a couple of curses, and a stern warning from yacchan before the three of them slip out of the doorway and into the winter sunlight. hinata throws a parting, pointed look at kageyama before jogging down the path, calling out to the two blonds to keep up.
soon, they were left alone. and kageyama... wasn't looking at him.
hmm... it's one of those days, huh?
before he thinks too much about it, tadashi gives him a small peck on the cheek. that has kageyama looking, his already pink-tinted cheeks growing redder.
"hi there," tadashi says, smile uncontained.
"hi," kageyama manages, eyes darting away again, cheeks burying themselves in the scarf around his neck. it makes tadashi want to reach up and pinch his cheeks like an auntie, but could you blame him? for someone so scary-looking, kageyama can be so cute and round even without trying.

Nekoma, in its origin, is associated with felines. It's aforementioned name- Neko- meaning cat.
Thus, this representation is also carried forward to the novel as more than just an interpretation. Its religion, beliefs, and government structure are centered on this identity.
Magusren is also considered one of the tactical domains in the empire, prioritizing strategy over aggression.

- Ren : Barren land where the territory is situated.

Standard greeting is performed by:
An open palm, where the fingers touch the forehead and then extending the same open palm towards the individual.
The forehead contact symbolizes a connection with the unseen spirits through the "third eye".
The outward gesture is to show connection from oneself to another, therefore continuing the flow. As well, it also shows trust without concealment.
