list of things i'd love to see in i will always save you that i know are not gonna happen but im still going to manifest because i love to be delusional and a clown:

pongpuen and pepper meeting back in high school. pepper was a new transfer student who immediately charmed everyone, including the girl pongpuen liked. one day, pongpuen’s friends were teasing him about it, so he ended up saying some rude things about pepper (maybe something like ‘he’s just the shiny new toy everyone’s gonna forget about as soon as they realize how frivolous and irresponsible he is’). unfortunately, pepper was passing by and overheard the conversation, so he decided to show pongpuen exactly how immature he could be (and started flirting with every girl pongpuen liked). that’s how their animosity started (GIVE ME THAT PRIDE AND PREJUDICE BEGINNING);

i know p’jojo likes harry styles, but i desperately need some of pepper’s looks as a luk thung singer to be inspired by freddie mercury or david bowie (and give me all the crop tops and baby tees for his day-to-day ones);

FELIZZ as the haang kreung dancers and each of them gets her own personality and background. the girls and pepper don’t start off on the right foot but he eventually befriends them and one of the side plots of the story is him and pongpuen helping them out with their problems;

related the previous point, you know how in sister act the nuns decide to help rescue deloris after she’s being kidnapped? yeah i want that with pepper and the girls;

off cameo as pongpuen’s older brother or one of his fellow police officers who pepper flirts with (AND THEY ALSO KISS ON THE MOUT- [GUNSHOT]);

pongpuen teaching pepper not only how to shoot but also some basic self-defense moves and we get ALL THE SNARKY BANTER AND DELICIOUS TENSION;

pepper straddling pongpuen on the couch and then pongpuen picking him up to carry him to bed;

i think pongpuen getting hurt to protect pepper is pretty much a must but in the final showdown i want pepper to be the one getting hurt to save pongpuen from getting shot;

i am gonna list things i NEED to see in iwasy here because you seem to be one of the only peope who is excited about it like me. if these things dont happen i dont even know what to watch the show for (dw i will still watch because it has my js but i will be sad) so here we go:

the rivalry and tension needs to be intense and not something that falters in two episodes. i hope the tension and the desire and the chemistry is electrifying and feels tangible. this cant become one of those shows where the enemies part of the enemies to lovers is cut short.

if there is going to be singing, i hope there is loads of targetted singing in the show. i dont know if you have watched daisy jones and the six but over there, daisy and billy would each compose songs which were heavily targetted towards the other. i hope pepper performs looking pongpuen directly in the eye after some argument, and pongpuen feels heavily affected by it. i need to see it happen. its very important to me.

i hope the performances reach peaks we havent seen before. i hope the costumes are splendid like in the pilot.

i dont care if they decide to make pongpuen older than pepper but please do not give me the phi nong dynamics like in mmp and LT. it is ideal if pepper calls him only by his name and the dynamic is similar to talay and puen. i dont want to see any power imbalance in the age aspect - this is not the story for it.

i hope pepper's co-performers or background dancers have full fledged personalities. better if we get women. i love women. sorry not sorry i needed to mention that. pongpuen should also have at least one cop friend. would be great if it is a woman who clocks his shit all the time.

pepper needs to be a pain in the ass. throughout the show. he cant become a saint just because he is in love. he should keep serving cunt. (sorry but im so sad dean from ofdo has got his cuntiness diluted because he is in a relationship now.) and that man needs to rile pongpuen up to the point of insanity. to the point pepper starts appearing in his dreams and in every waking thought, so much so that pongpuen cannot keep up his stoic demeanor anymore.

pepper's bisexuality should not endure erasure. i hope he sleeps with both men and women - both driving pongpuen insane. pongpuen should go through some delicious bi panicking if he is not aware he likes men pre-pepper.

MINIMUM. and that time should be filled with nothing but palpable tension and barely restrained desire and absolute denial and endless snarky banter. PLEASE GOD I NEED THIS.

I DON’T WANT THAT. like don’t get me wrong, i do love phi/nong dynamics, but i completely agree with you, this is not the story for it. the tension and the ‘forbidden’ side of the relationship already comes from pepper being placed under pongpuen’s protection, there’s no need to add another kind of power imbalance between them. the two of them being the same age also fits the tone of the story better imho, especially if they keep pepper ‘stealing’ pongpuen’s girlfriend. the good news is that they do use guu/mueng pronouns in the trailer and that's definitely more likely for characters of the same age, so hopefully they won't change that!!!!!!!!!
