It will be alright || Mithan
Staring at the ceiling of his room, Ethan Holt’s cerulean blue eyes examined the rough textures and he tried to force his eyes not to close. With still another essay to revise, he was taking a break before getting back to it knowing that his mind needed to ease down and not think about words for a minute. Or half an hour - Whatever he needed to give his mind the rest that it had been crying for the past few weeks. Now that the semester was coming to an end the mutant had to rush and make sure to get all his work in on time and that it was A+ work because he knew that this was going to be the last normal semester that he was going to have. With Mila pregnant and ready to give birth by the start of the next year, he was registering for two online courses and one campus course. With two babies on the way, he was not going to have time to be taking the typical five classes because he just did not have the time to do all the homework. The mutant had one baby now and he complained, having two babies he did not even want to imagine what would happen. He was stressed enough as it is, the last thing he needed was to add school to that bunch.
The mutant did not know how hard he was thinking until he felt his lid grow heavier by the second and his eyes threatening to close. It was only8 PM and he could have easily just take a nap and wake up in an hour to finish revising, but the empath knew himself too well to know that the minute he closed his eyes, he was going to get up the next day for he did not take regular naps. Tiredly, the brunette man brought a hand up to his head and rubbed his eyes before slowly sitting up on the bed. Going back to his essay on condoms distribution, the empath checked the sentence structure, grammar, flow, among other to make sure that the paper was ready for the critiques that were going to be written by his fellow students as they all interchanged papers before the teacher got to read them.
Once he was done with the paper twenty minute later, Ethan stood up from the bed, saving his work before closing his laptop before grabbing it and placing it on his desk that he very rarely used. Feeling his stomach grumble, a sighed and exited his room lazily. He hated making food when he was tired. Knowing that Sophia was probably going to knock out soon and would probably punch him if he woke her up to make him a sandwich, he exited his room that was only a few feet from the stairs that led to rooms upstairs where Melanie and Sophia sleep. Making a right, he walked through his opened dining room and through the opened doorway that led into his spacious kitchen. Heading straight to the fridge, the mutant grabbed the bread, turkey ham, cheddar cheese, lettuce, mayo, and packed it in his arm before settling them on the counter right next to him. He quickly looked for a plat and a glass and grabbed a table knife and started making his sandwich. Finally don't with the short process, the hungry empath was just about to take a bite out of his sandwich when he heard the front door. What the hell?, he though to himself as he was not expecting any visitors and neither was Sophia since he didn't say anything to him about it earlier.
Setting his 'dinner' on the plate, the mutant raced to the front door before whoever was standing behind it continued ringing it and woke up Melanie. Getting to the door shortly, he pulled opened completely forgetting he was wearing his flannel pants, a grey tank top and socks -his lazy look. Seeing the familiar face standing before him, he smiled softly. "Hey, gorgeous." he said surprised to see her at his place at night.
