Finished reading two new book series and HIGHLY RECOMMAND to those looking for new good vampire books. It's so hard to find new vampire series this days that feel more mature and are not written specifically for "young adults" (and that also don't assume those young adults are brain dead lol)
Beguiled by Night Series by Nicole Eigener
The main protagonist... french vampire called Louis de Vauquelin (yes another Louis lol but vastly different) has quickly become one of my favourite and most memorable vampires in literature. This book in such interesting and introspective look into vampire existence and his journey through ages... if you're looking for fast pace or a lot of romance, it's not for you, but if you're looking for raw mesmerizing and realistic look into vampire existence and psyche and all that it entails .. it is so brilliant!
Gabriel Davenport series by Beverley Lee
This was such a ride I dont remember when I read 3 books this fast. We follow main character, a boy called Gabriel Davenport, from his troubled childhood and teen years to supernatural occurrence that changes his life and eventual his turning into vampire, introduction to his centuries old maker and whole new supernatural world and structures and crazy adventures through the world with his new vampire family.. really heartfelt and engaging! Great world building and many fascinating characters here <3
I know I gave only very vague general description without much details but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, and these books are really worth the read for vampire fans :)
and there is crossover series "A conclave of Crimson" that incorporates both as sort of spinoff :) it's fantastic!!!
