Our party kind of completed our first Adventure together and my Bard, Izku, writes letter home to inform his family of great news about him not getting brutally killed by his employer.
Continued from his previous letter (which I never bothered to write) and presented without any context:
" Hi Dad and Grandfather! I know it's impractical to write letters so often but I figured you'd rather hear from me sooner because of the way I had ended previous letter.
We totally nailed count Daxtro. After I finished my previous letter it turned out that two of our party members went missing (that cute orc and the other tiefling) and we rushed as fast as we could to count's estate. One broken gate and megaphone demand later we were inside and not a minute too early. Our two comrades were in shackles and Daxtro was playing the classic hostage situation tune. At that point arresting him seemed like wisest option, and that was exactly what we did. The fight was over before it had gone into full swing and I got bruised only a little (nothing serious I was able to patch myself on my own).
Anyway, as I am writing this we are joining the Ministry of Adventure and the Artefact is being scheduled for destruction. I am sure you all home are as relieved as I am from the way things played out. Tell Mum if she visits that I went legit, I am sure she will be thrilled!
Signed, your prodigal son, Izkusitel.
P.S. Some of Grandfather's mistrust rubbed off on me. I had most embarrassing confrontation with our Enchanter Erudev. Who knew some family signets could be so alike with the signet of Autumn Court? Not me. "
