OFMD s2 rewatch thoughts so far: there’s a lot of stuff in 2.01-2.03 that I think was supposed to be comedy beats that I absolutely did not read as intentional comedy the first times I watched it or was something like “what the fuck who would try to make that funny?” where it’s clear it’s played as comedy but shouldn’t have been. The examples I’ve got so far for these are: Frenchie saying there’s a box in his mind where he locks all the terrible things he’s seen up (supposed to be funny?) Izzy crying and being held by the crew after being told his relationship with Ed is toxic (supposed to be funny?) Lucius’s human puppet joke (what the fuck why would you do this as a comedy beat?) idk. Still watching but this is what I’ve got so far. Just as disappointed this watch.
