Jordan: what’s it like working with Lando? To your point— someone who has done immensely well but also one, probably, of the busiest people on the planet—what’s it like working with him?

Izzy: yeah, he’s a really nice guy. I think, I… because I’ve always had my dad, who is very busy and quite famous and whatever, I’m kind of like— ‘yeah you’re just kinda quite similar really, aren’t you?’ Like, it’s a very similar vibe I guess. But obviously Lando is a lot younger… and I kind of thought— before I met Lando, in my head I was like, ‘he’s probably going to be a dick’, and like, absolutely fair enough. Because if I was 26 years old and was a ridiculously good racing driver driving for McLaren, I would probably be quite a dick. And then I met him, and he’s just not a dick, at all. He’s really, genuinely, a nice person. Which is impressive, I think, to stay that grounded with everything, especially now, like, post championship. But he loves what he does, and he’s passionate about quadrant, which is really nice— to have, sort of, a founder that actually cares about what you’re doing.
