You made your way back to your dorm, deep in thought about the endless possibilities of the repercussions of your actions. Loud boisterous laughter broke you out of the depressing thoughts and you looked over to the basketball court just in time to see Hoseok flailing about in a poor attempt and blocking Taehyung from taking a shot, needless to say it didn’t work, at all but he didn’t seem to mind. A bright smile covered his face as he laughed at his own actions, making you smile.

It was one of the things you really liked about Hoseok, he seemed to have this power over everyone, his smile always infecting others.

He was fooling around with Jungkook, wrestling the younger man when he spotted you. That bright smile un wavered as he let Jungkook go, his attention now fully on you. You gave him a small wave accompanied by a warm smile, intending to keep going but Hoseok slowly jogged over to you, stopping on the other side of the fence from where you were.

“Hey” he said as he rested his hands on the fence, his fingers poking through the diamond shaped holes that the wire formed.

“Hey” you replied, your smile grew wider, making you highly aware of the influence he was having over you. You looked down at your feet, attempting to rid the smile before you looked back at him and asked “Having fun?”

“Always, wanna join?”

“Ahhh no thanks”

“You’re just scared you will lose” he replied with a smirk, he was taunting you.

“Against you, I don’t think so, you’re terrible at this”

“You saw that, huh?” he asked as he bit his bottom lip, his eyes appearing to shimmer with joy.

“I did and I can never unsee it” you teased, you weren’t sure why, it was almost bordering flirting but something inside was telling you to keep going.

Hoseok laughed, he took his snap back off and ran his hand through his hair. He looked back at the rest of the group calling him to come back before looking back to you, something appearing to bother him.

“Are you busy later?”

“I don’t think so….”

“Good” he said, cutting you off before you could finish. “Then you’ll be free to hang out?”

“I guess…” your reply sounding as unsure as you were, you hadn’t really been alone with him since he walked you home and after your revelation, you weren’t convinced it was a good idea to be alone with him again.

“Oh come on, we’re friends now, aren’t we?” he asked as he cocked his head to the side, his actions turning almost sweet.

Just as you opened your mouth to reply, Hoseok was ripped from the fence by Jimin. Hoseok yelled at him, Jimin finally let him down after spinning him around. A smirk formed on his lips and his eyes light up as he looked at you before dipping down to the small bag in your hand.

“Where have you been?” he asked as his eyes met with yours, you panicked, your body feeling hot as you quickly thought of an answer.

“I.. ah… just had to do some washing” you replied with a half ass smile.

His smirk grew wider as he stared you down. “Off campus?”

You panicked again, you weren’t sure how you were going to answer but luck was on your side. You could see the others sneaking up on them before picking them up and carrying them away and back to the court.

You let out a sigh of relief before quickly heading back to your dorm, before anybody else spotted you.
