Please introduce yourself to our ROCKSIN readers! Hi Singapore and all Rocksin readers. This is Osamuraisan. I play the acoustic guitar and my videos are on Nico Nico Douga & Youtube. I’ve performed in several countries before, but this is the first time I’m performing in Singapore, which is very exciting for me. How will you describe the music of Osamuraisan? Solo, Acoustic guitarist & Rock! What inspired you to pick up the guitar? How did you decide you want to do acoustic guitar covers on niconico & youtube? My main influences for picking up the guitar was thanks to the Japanese artiste「Yuzu. They are an Acoustic guitar, singer duo. I am not a good singer so I decided to play the guitar. When I saw that a lot of people were posting their video of themselves playing instruments on Nico Nico Douga, I thought to myself : “I should be able do that”. My first video was Disney’s [Beauty and the beast]. I started Youtube so that I could be heard overseas. Do you have any artist who greatly influences your music/genre choices? If so, who are they? I would say, Yamazaki Masayoshi is my greatest influence. Please share some interesting facts about yourself? I’m a “samurai” that prefers coffee to Green tea. I’m usually mistaken for a girl in my videos, I’m male. I actually like 2D girls, at the moment, Toumaruchan. What are you most looking forward to for your upcoming visit to Singapore? Food!
