self-indulgent music post!
Since Emry is a musician, I’d be absolutely remiss if I didn’t share the music that’s helped me out as I write The Stray Spirit. Since he’s a lutenist, it should come as no surprise that I’ve been listening to a bunch of acoustic guitar albums. Bonus? No lyrics to distract me as I write! Honestly, I’d recommend these as writing soundtracks even if I wasn’t writing Emry.

It’s not a perfect match, but I’ll point you to Cody Fry, specifically in Underground and Dead Man Walking.
The Lute:
As for what it sounds like when Aspen is inside the lute (because of course your lute is going to sound different when a spirit is trapped inside it, right?), look no further than this video. That reverb, man. *chef’s kiss*
I should clarify that I know nothing about lutes or guitars. Violins? Yes. Any other string instruments? Don’t know her.

Okayyy this is the 2nd time gintoki appeared since i bought the zen style remodel YESTERDAY. he's only appeared 3 times, THREE TIMESSS, in a span of weeks when i used the sugary style remodel. Which means people on reddit were right about osamurai-san prefers the zen style over the other styles and that his appearance will increase. OTL
