Trip to Walmart.

1. Try not to shop just after the working hour, the parking and checking out line ain’t fun.

2. The ground leads to the entrance is bumpy.

3. Move rental machine between the two doors.

4. So do the soda vending machines.

5. Missing people board by the entrance/exit.

6. Shopping carts for the people with disabilities are by the first door.

7. Shopping carts ain’t easy to pull separate as you might think.

8. Fresh bread section is set very closed to the raw meat section.

9. There are bottles of concentrated fruit juice just next to the sliced fruit section.

10. Bacon and such are located at the same section of sour cream & whip cream.

11. Peanut butter and jelly are put together in the same shelf, and they should.

12. Shelves for sliced bread are the opposite of the peanut butter shelves.

13. Food satisfy you, not terrify.

14. Why do people buy canned vegetables?

15. Too many brands of the same thing.

16. So many flavors of dressing.

17. People with shopping list buy less stuff.

18. “All natural” - Stacy’s pita chips – yum.

A trip to the grocery

1. The parking lot is slushie from snow and rain.

2. The parking spots are angled up and down.

3. The shopping cart areas in the parking lot are slighty off center with the parking spots.

4. The shopping carts are cold and wet.

5. The sidewalk has salt chunks everywhere.

6. The grocery store sign is big and red

7. The door open as I walk toward them

8. The doors let out a burst of warm air.

9. Just inside the front door are soggy mats

10. They buggies are grey and red

11. The door greeter was a nice old lady.

12. The Sale Ad was right beside the shopping carts.

13. The ceilings are tall

14. The lighting is bright and flourescent

15. The floors are white and cold

16. The walls are brick and hidden by signs

17. The fruit is the first thing that I see

18. The bananas are all green

19. The sliced fruit is much more appealing than the nob prepared fruit.

20. The smell of the breads should be illegal

21. The isle are arranged in rows

23. The other customers seem friendly

24. The pizzas are aligned perfectly in their freezers.

25. The ice cream looks better on the shelf than on me. HA!

30. The oatmeal seems like a calm section of the store

31. The oatmeal section was enjoyable.

33. The buggy is now warm and dryish.

34. The seafood smells yucky!

35. The cheese section is very busy.

45. The checkouts lines are shorter than I expected only 2-3 buggies behind.

50. The checkout line is my favorite part. Its like the whole store crammed in one small area.

50 Things

Trip to the grocery store:

1. Car did not want to wait for me crossing street.

2. Apple stand is spilled, about 20 on the floor.

3. Very hard to walk around the fruit section

4. Long line at deli. One worker for about 12 people.

5. Taste tester worker asked all but me for a sample.

6. Seems to be mostly older shoppers.

7. My cart has a bad wheel.

8. Only two cashiers open, lines starting to back up.

9. I can not find coffee filters anywhere.

10. This entire aisle is dog and cat food and toys.

11. The next aisle is completely baby products.

12. I can’t seem to find the cereal I want, but am in an entire aisle of cereal.

13. Two workers are clogging up the freezer aisle.

14. One person is taking too long in the freezer section.

15. All the milk is almost expired. Two days for everything.

16. Yogurt section is a lot longer than I remember.

17. Beer selection is actually very good.

18. They are low on carts.

19. There is a lot of restocking of drinks right now.

20. I can not find office supplies.

21. They only have one size bubble wrap.

22. The section with books and chairs has a few people actually sitting down and reading.

23. Two cases of water really takes up a lot of space in the cart.

24. Cheez-its and Oreo-s are the majority of the cookie and cracker aisle.

25. Someone is using a basket to carry a cartfull of items.

26. Orange juice is not as big of a section as I thought.

27. The Big-K pop is half the price of Coke brand.

28. Beer is next to cheese and milk.

29. The whole back wall is either dinner meat or breakfast meat.

30. I wonder how many people are shopping for the super bowl today?

31. Main aisle devoted to super bowl food and party items.

32. They only have two large sizes of contact solution.

32. Pharmacy section seems tucked away in the corner.

33. Health food tucked in corner, next to beer, chips, and cookies.

34. I see a few people using iPods while shopping.

35. No crying baby’s yet during the whole trip.

36. Checkout is going to take a while, not many workers.

37. I have just a few too many items to try to use the self-checkout.

38. Self-checkout is just as backed up as normal lanes.

39. I’m surprised they still ask if plastic is ok.

40. I feel different checking out when the line is backed up. Makes you feel like you are moving way too slow.

41. The amount of bags they gave will take a while to bring into apartment.

42. Movie rental machine on the way out the door after checkout.

43. About 5 skill games for children after checkout.

44. I have never seen the slushie machine next to the checkout lanes before.

45. They are still out of carts as I leave.

46. Lot is not icy but very slushy. Makes it very hard to push the cart.

47. They need more holders for the carts in the lot. Customers have to walk too much to put carts away in certain spots.

48. Not a large crowd out today most likely due to weather.

49. Cart pusher is having a hard time in the cold and slush.

50. Someone who needed a cart took mine on the way in.

Trip to the grocery store!

1. I can never decide whether it's better to park near the entrance or the exit

2. It's really not so hard to push a grocery cart into the drop off sections, so why are they everywhere?

3. I love when cars try to pull in the spots that are half covered with snow, so the cars at a 45 degree angle.

4. I hate when cars don't stop for pedestrians in parking lots.

5. ^ PEDESTRIANS HAVE THE RIGHT AWAY

6. I love how Krogers has the clorox wipes now for the carts.

7. ^ They are probably so dirty from all the hands touching it, and do they ever even get sanitized?

8. From the entrance I walked in, it's really awkward to get around the self checkout and out into the rest of the store

9. The magazines are not organized very well, I can never find the ones I'm looking for!

10. I like the way the produce section is set up.

11. You can go around it in a circle and reach everything easily

12. You don't have to go up and down aisles

13. I wish they had a larger organic produce section!

14. I think organic fruits have much more flavor

15. They meticulously place the cakes in the middle of everything so that they're basically staring at you

16. It's awkward getting from deli section to the front of the store

17. I like how they rarely change things up

18. ^ this way I can go the same route everytime to be most time-efficient

19. I am always so careful where I stick things in the cart so that they end up being bagged with similar products

20. I put all my meats and cheeses together

21. Then my milk and juices

22. Then Yogurts and other refrigerate products

23. Freezer items also go together :)

24. I always try to get one or two things that I've never tried before so I don't get into too much of a routine

25. I know they say don't read a book by it's cover, but I do it all the time

26. If I see one of my favorite celebrities on the front of the magazines I can't help but buy it!

27. They have a stand with movies for $5 each.

28. it must be new I come here almost every week

29. I think organic milk tastes better, so I get it even though it's $1.70 more

30. Organic milk lasts so much longer than regular milk

31. The expiration date isn't until March

32. Greek yogurt is always so hard to find, it's always shoved in a little corner!

32. I always get chilly when I'm by the dairy..

33. Why is the popcorn randomly by the beer?

34. Flavored beer.... never tried it, and don't really want to!

35. I can't find petroleum jelly anywhere...

36. They cleverly place the nailpolish in a way where I always pass it and want to look at the new colors

37. And now I can't find Dove face lotion

38. Well I asked and they apparently don't have it. Bummer

39. It's always pretty easy to find a sales person there

40. I prefer the self checkout

41. It's faster than waiting in line

42. I also can bag things the way I want

43. Sometimes it gets annoying when something doesn't ring up right though

44. Someone is always there pretty quick to help

45. I wonder if people ever lie about what produce they have

1. Why aren't there more of the smaller carts?

2. Alcohol is near the entrance

3. Are drinks near the chips on perpose

4. fresh meat is near the entrance? seems dumb to me

5. cereal near diapers? and baby food?

6. why isn't canned soups with premade meals?

7. why is breakfast food last?

8. refridgerated food is near start while frozen is last..why?

9. why isn't perishable food items last?

10. why are the kids toys hung so high if they are targeting kids?

11. why not organize more by brand?

12. heavy things with noone to assist

13. why do they stop carrying certain items

14. florist section always tucked in an obscure corner

15. the sale items tend to be in the end of isles after their original isle

17. mexican foods mostly green and red labels

18. I feel more comfortable buying food with pictures of it on the front

19. why do they not put drink mixes in with the drinks

21. why not put small snacks first so shopper is most hungry?

22. recycleable water gallons are all dirty

23. McCormick spices aren't near other spices

24. Ramen noodles aren't with other asain premade noodles

25. Torillas are in 2 places

26. OJ isn't near the Milk

27. breakfast food are generally located near end

28. alcohol seems to be in a segregated section

29. season sections tend to be first.

30. larger items such as bottled water are first when your cart is empty

31. bread and eggs near end because they are fragile

32. cart collectors seem to be inconvenient

33. propane at Giant Eagle is hidden by a brick wall

34. Ramp for carts and handicapped is out of the way

35. employees rarely help

36.Pop is in 3 different locations

37. self-checkout seems to always need help

38. V8 isn't with other drinks

39. when restocking the shelves the isles is almost blocked

40. why didn't the road designer make the entrance to giant eagle more accessible for all? traffic issues

41. why would you buy from the pop machines outside instead of buying in the store

42. benches just outside the door causes smokers to gather before entry

43. Alcohol right next to florist...coincidence?

44. baskets are semi-hidden in Giant Eagle

45. Deli glass is very hard to read through

46. why is fragile bakery items picked up first?

47. why don't the label the isles after the freezer section?
