Flashback to 6th December 2020: So on this, our final day, we witnessed the magical spectacle of the Red Crab Spawning where 100,000 eggs are released with a little dance or two! Plus we did the challenging hike from Territory Day Park to Tai Jin House. 🦀

J33 Keet 1996-2010
J33 Keet was son of J16 Slick and brother of J48 unnamed, J26 Mike, J42 Echo, J50 Scarlet, and J36 Alki. Missing and presumed deceased as of 2010 He was the second son of J16 Slick born in 1996. Around the time that he was born, there was a great die-off of adult and sub-adult Male whales. It was concluded, after J18 Everett washed ashore, that this was due to high levels of toxins. J33 wasn’t considered to be a very social whale. He often stuck by his mothers side especially after his little sister J42 Echo was born. In August of 2010 though, he suddenly disappeared and was declared deceased. He was 14 at the time and his cause of death was likely due to toxins much like those who died when he was born.
