Oh! Its okay I'll do my best to explain it and why my take is what it is:

As they have updated it *kind of* due to backlash, but are doubling down on the rule regardless

The long and short of it is they are banning bases/picture refrences including ones you take yourself/model in csp and design dolls ect with the idea of "tracing bad"

BUT especially in a time crunch with an event LIKE art fight, these resources help with work flow immensely, and is often used in multiple different types of industries to help. (Ie, in animation its common practices for animators to animate based on body movements in videos of themselves to make sure its "accurate") Not to mention, it is REALLY good for beginners to use especially models like the ones in csp to help with figuring out how a body moves/looks and is always something I personally recommended to beginners. It basically gives circa 2008 deviant art elitist bullshit on something thats really a non issue and is often used amongst MANY artists

With an additional: per csps tos the models are completely legal to use for commercial use because they know how valuable the models are. I think design doll has something similar but do not quote me on that

The long and short of it is Akos was made long before TotK and so we didn't have the implications of the dragons. Well, Dinraal is literally the whole reason Akos uses fire. So mr snocaps' request was "when he uses magic, imagine [insert Zelda transforming image here]"

Basically just every time akos uses that magic, he's gambling with his life a little bit.

I will always advocate for privacy, and the constant war of age verification both with companies AND governments this way I will always think is dogshit.

I'm not the best at explaining ramifications of movements like this, but please keep yourselves safe and don't comply to companies like these who don't actually give a shit about safety after proven data leaks.

I wish I had a worthwhile alternative to discord, but i don't think a worthwhile one has surfaced yet. If one does, great! I will update it here. I just wanna help get the message out!
