what if salmon dean decide on a 'best way out is through' policy for jack's trauma with the box

they decide to make it just like, a regular chill thing for him so he doesn't associate it with them trapping him there. like how some pet owners have their dog just chill in the crate all the time so it doesn't get freaked when it needs to be crated

jack likes it because it doesn't completely render him powerless, especially now that he's god, but it does power him down a bit and that's nice sometimes, ya know? especially after the whole Mary thing he likes being able to just let go and not worry about his powers. plus it's just a fun little spot :) it's like a celestial sensory deprivation tank

they get him pillows and blankets and stuffed animals and snacks and a dinosaur nightlight and all sorts of fun stuff!

they even duct tape an ipad onto the lid like those ipads in the back seats of cars to entertain kids

most importantly it has a panic button so jack can get out on his own whenever but it's about trust that this time they really will let him out after x amount of time they'd never abandon him there again :)

My muse has died meme / from dean, with the assumption they can't get cas back or at least think they cant.

how strange it is, to dean winchester, to lose someone with the knowledge that no matter what he tries, there is no return. that there are no more deals to be made or favors to call in - that castiel is truly and finally gone. how strange and horrifying. for dean winchester has lost more friends than he can count and therefore believes that he should be used to loss, and yet there is a monumental hole in his heart.

and every minute that passes is agonizingly cruel because there's still that nagging, useless hope that castiel's eyes will open. that he'll gaze into deep blues once more, and yet with every beat of his own heart, he reminds himself that this won't happen. that he is experiencing finality. and he doesn't realise that he's crying until he feels it rolling down his cheeks, his nose, and his gaze gets blurry. behind him, jack calls out to the father of choice - the seraphim that loved him in fatherly ways and dean can hear the nephilim's heart breaking alongside his own.

oh how terrible it is to be dean winchester and to lose his heart.

Character: Jack Frost (If you feel like it, that is.~)

1: sexuality headcanon: gay. pretty gay. sometimes fics pass him well as bi or pan, but i see him as mostly gay.

2: otp: it’s such a big toss up between Blackice and Hijack, but I think I have to go with Hijack

3: brotp: Sandy. I really think they have the greatest broship out there.

4: notp: North. I can’t get past seeing North as a father/mentor figure to Jack.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head: After the events of the movie and Jack finds out he can animate frost into animals, he periodically floods Bunny’s Warren with dozens of frost bunnies.

6: favorite line from this character: “How can I know who I am until I know who I was?”

7: one way in which I relate to this character: I feel that a lot of Jack’s character was finding a reason within himself to be believed in, and I really struggled with that in myself for a long time.

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: Hun, you are literally wearing the same pants you died in. You switched your shirt, so switch your pants too.
