Team YouTube waiting five days to address this, 'both sideing' the situation where there's clearly only one person in the wrong, SSSniperwolf and teams YouTube both posting their statements 14 hours ago... yeah, this is gross, their statement is a joke

tl;dr jacksfilms made a second channel to react to sssniperwolf's lazy reaction videos in which she oftentimes posts other people's content without credit, Jack called her out for stealing content among other things, no one is above criticism and she deserved to be called out a long, long time ago

she then doxxed him and went to his home (she has over 30 million followers on YouTube) and showed up at his front door, team YouTube waited 5 days to address the situation and now said both sides were in the wrong, which is an insane take

Reuniting with producer Jack Douglas, and seasoned by almost a year of touring, Toys in the Attic revealed better playing and better songs and became the band's commercial breakthrough ("That breakthrough was facilitated by Jack Douglas," Joe Perry has said).

So in my Mike Tree series I mentioned a story about Elliot Mintz possibly getting goons to burgle Mike's property. I've been scouring for a source and turns out I got it partially wrong. Don't worry gang, there was a robbery but it was Jack Douglas not Mike Tree who was getting his shit nicked:

Someone brought him their not knowing that it was not a good idea but I came up and it was a house I had in the Hollywood Hills … I was doing some records out there. And I so treasured these great pictures that I had, of John and 1, that I would take them with me when I was traveling. I was going to spend six months in a house in Los Angeles so in my little office I had pictures of John and 1. Amazing picture of John and I listening to ‘Starting Over’ for the first time, [while finishing up ‘Double Fantasy’] somebody from the maintenance shop, because we released it as [an advance] single. Somebody from maintenance said ‘Hey, they’re playing ‘Starting Over on the radio.” John and I went running into the maintenance shop and we’re both standing like dumbfounded, like with these stupid smiles, like kids, listening to ‘Starting Over” and there’s a little radio, me and John leaning over it, unopposed just like kids and somebody took a snap of it and so I had all these pictures and someone brought Elliot by and Elliot saw these pictures around my place … My place was burglarized and you know what they stole? Pictures. That’s all. All the pictures were gone. Every picture I had. There must have been a dozen, really beautiful. That’s strange. I mean, all my gold and platinum records ended up in a closet at Yoko’s. I never got them! Well, somebody [took] one out and gave it to me as a birthday present. They gave me a platinum single and a platinum record.

Did he talk much about the Beatles?

All the time.

Did he feel like it was a weight on him?

No, he absolutely loved it. I used to have a little Sony blaster that I would put up… It’s funny because now I do my fucking mix through a Bose wave radio, but then it was a Sony blaster. A fairly good one. And if you sounded good in there, everything was right. And one day in a few moments when nothing was going on, he would put on WNYW FM and listen to the radio. He loved to listen.

And when a Beatles song came on the radio, he would tell you everything about that session. Everything that happened. He never had a problem talking about how much he loved that band. And how much he loved those guys. He was a little annoyed at George, because George had written a book and he didn’t mention John much in the book, at that time. But he felt that that would come around.

But his love for that band. Phenomenal. It was great. It was what you hoped he would be like.

He loved them as much as everyone loved them. Did he ever discuss why they never reunited, or why they had those near-misses? Well you know he and Paul were already in the process. This Ringo album I think was going to be big.

That could have been a big stepping stone?

Yeah.

Did you ever see them together, any of them?

No. But I know that Paul was up at the Dakota.

Did they jam together?

I don’t know. All I know is that Paul was preparing stuff for Ringo’s album.
