“so how’s things with y/n?” jimmy asked as he watched nick sit on the couch next to him, “haven’t seen her in a bit.”
“yeah cause we’re on a break.” he shrugged nonchalantly as he took a sip of the water he swiped from the kitchen.
“you- what?“
“she accused me of flirting with other girls and getting what i wanted handed over to me and other bullshit.”
“well is it true?” leavy asked as he flicked the tv off.
“is what true?”
“you mingling with other girls?”
“i mean, i don’t know.”
“you do it nick.” summers sighed as he made eye contact with nick, “i’ve seen it. i’m shocked she hasn’t said anything until now though.”
“i do not!” nick tried to defend himself, “i cant help if people come up to me!”
“now that’s true.”
“shut up nolan. you’re not helping.”
“nick, you do it.” leavy agreed with summers, “what did she say?”
“she wanted to take a break to think about things.” he slumped down as he ran his hand over his face, “i fucked up, didnt i?”
“you did.”
“wait.” jimmy interrupted, “are you taking her side?”
“i am.” summers and leavy replied in almost unison causing jimmy and nolan to scoff.
“nick isn’t in the wrong here.” nolan argued back as if nick wasn’t sitting there; jimmy nodding along.
“yeah this is why you idiots don’t have girlfriends.” summers turned to nick, “don’t listen to them. nick. i promise you. you’re in the wrong here.”
“but he’s not!” nolan said, “tell me how it’s different for her to talk to boys but he can’t talk to females?”
“she doesn’t do that!” leavy defended you, “when have you ever seen her without one of us or nick?” he asked. “quit being stupid nolan.”
at this point, nick was just watching them argue over his relationship.
“you cant tell me that she’s never flirted with someone while being with nick.” jimmy added.
“unless she was drunk, no. i’ve never seen it.” summers shrugged.
“i think this whole thing is stupid. it shouldn’t matter if nick talks to becky from down the block or if she speaks to peter from biology.”
“that’s not the point moyle. it’s clearly something that was bothering her and she brought up and blanks shrugged it off like it was nothing and proceeded to let her leave without resolving it.” summers smacked nolan upside the head.
