A Long Wait for a Kiss
Summery: Skyler Jo and Jack have been together for 3 years and are crazy in love. They’ve been able to get through everything life has thrown at them, except she can’t handle this next obstacle

It’s been three years since Skyler Jo Collins met Jack Murdoch on a silly dating app that Skyler’s friend Alexis made her create a profile on. She never thought she would have met her soul mate in her own town via a dating app. But here she was, holding onto him for dear life as tears streamed down her cheeks begging him not to go.
24 HOURS EARLIER
“I know today is my last day with you, baby, but please let me do the dishes.” Jack laughed as he looked down at his much smaller girlfriend, Skyler Jo, as she clung to his waist as he attempted to wash the dishes.
Skyler shook her head as she choked back tears, “not letting go, nope, can’t make me.” Jack laughed as he shook his head in defeat; there was no way in hell he was getting his girlfriend off of him.
After he finished the dishes and started the dishwasher, he picked up Skyler Jo bridal style and spun her around their small studio apartment. Her giggles filled the air as he practically threw her onto the bed.
“I love you babygirl.” he whispered as he crawled on top of her. Her smile spread across her cheeks as he lowered himself down and their lips connected.She could feel the love radiating from him and to her. This would be one of their last kisses for 9 months.
