Oh my! I’m a complete Twitter dolt! Falling on my sword @JackSchofield.
Not keeping up with conversations one starts on Twitter is bad manners. Seriously. Then there’s the issue of you missing kindness that matters.
Early this month, Jack Schofield, columnist for The Guardian, made some kind comments about this interview I did on The App Whisperer:

I thanked him and asked if he had time to take a look at my blog here on Tumblr. Told him I’d love to hear what he thought about some more recent work.
Then, since I’m not a regular Twitter user (conversationally), I promptly forgot all about my request and totally missed his reply. YIKES!
Falling on my sword reading what I missed above.
My heart swells with Jack’s kind remarks. I was a diligent reader of two of the magazines he edited back when I was a traditional and digital photographer. I treasured the content he selected to publish and learned so much from it.
Wow.
It hurts when I violate my own standards of civility. It hurts worse when this kindness was what I missed.
