We’re thrilled to reveal the cover for Cleanup Crew #4, The Demon of Denver. But first a word about the cover designer. David Berens, apart from being a good friend to Craig and myself, is an incredible author, creating one of the better character’s I’ve come across in recent years in Troy Bodean, and on top of that he’s a brilliant graphic designer, as you’re about to see. Next old pic from 2017. God, this horrible old nick
It's a part of Jack's story. Jack Storm lost his optics during the mission. The situation was really hard cuz the optics were destroyed as well as parts responsible for the connection between the hard disk drive. Most of medibots said him he stay blind cuz' this damage is irreparable. This fact was horrible for him. But someday Zoey tell Steel about this bot during a meeting in a cafe. Our femme medic can't stop thinking about him. Steel is interested in building bots in many different parts + she has bigger knowledge than random medibot from a hospital. And BOOM! The idea has come. She knew she can't repair the damages but she modified the eye mask for bots to act like ordinary optics with small improvements. It's a longer story. Maybe I write the story about it someday.
Limited Edition Fine Art Glass Sculpture by Jack Storms Since 2005, Jack Storms has been working on the Fantastik ViviOvo and with the first piece of a very limited collection of sculptures finished in May 2016, he is happy to unveil his newest masterpiece. This piece has a crosscut lux core, which Storms designed using his signature cold glass technique. Gaze into this breathtaking piece for only seconds and it will hypnotize you with its beauty and perfection. Each one of Jack Storms cold glass sculptures starts at the core. The artist then cuts, grinds, polishes and laminates the glass together, hundreds of times; until he achieves the core design he aspires for. Jack is known to reference the theory of Fibonacci throughout ideation and creation of all his glass designs. He then encases the core into optical crystal and hand sculpts each piece to shape. Each one of his glass sculptures takes anywhere from six to twenty four weeks to create and all of his artworks are original pieces of fine art. All of Jack Storms glass sculptures are designed using a cold-working lathe. There is no heat involved in the process whatsoever. The materials used on each one of Jack Storms’ glass sculptures are 32% optical lead crystal, optical crystal and dichroic glass.
