im very sure that EVERYONE has experienced parental love/positive affection from an adult/positive affection from a reliable figure from Cale at least ONCE.
doesn't matter if HE'S technically the younger one, you're getting forcefully adopted.

they're quite literally his children, im pretty sure they're going to be in his will and all the fancy adult shit
2. Choi Han
Cale has, on multiple occasions, fathered Choi han like hes a baby, he would've continued that if he wasnt so scared of his viciousness and him being his best friend's uncle
3. The Wolf Children
He is, once again, at the very least a wise uncle to them. im pretty sure they get some sort of allowance from him
4. Lock
He helped him built up his confidence, and become a reliable big brother and a good future king WITHOUT losing his innocence completely (because u will lose a lot of that in a war no matter how hard u try) and grow up semi normally like a adorable and awkward teenage boy
5. Jack and Hannah
he semi-adopted them. from calling the ONLY necromancer in the world, to showing his true self to Hannah, he treated them like in a way im pretty sure they NEVER experienced. yes, they're the older onces probably, fuck u idc, he still treats them like precious children and i agree
6. Mary
He helped her come out to the real world, let her experience everything she couldn't, AND shut up two-bit racists for her. pretty sure he would've murdered them if he didnt find all of this too troublesome
