Hi anon! I’m sorry to hear about the cost prohibiting you from watching the new season. It seems to be a common problem. Hopefully there will be another legitimate way to watch the season after it airs.
Jack does indeed have an apartment! At the moment, Scruffy is still in grad school far away, but he comes for a visit they are (naturally) both extremely looking forward to. So, Jack gets a room at a nice hotel for them to enjoy their brief time together.
Their relationship is in a hazy place because they both really, really love each other but it has been difficult because of the prolonged distance. They’re making it work but things are far from perfect. Hopefully by season’s end we’ll have them together and happy and everything will be perfect! Normally I wouldn’t want such a boring end, but they really deserve each other.
