Art and exploration can get messy, but I remind myself that I get to teach them how to clean up after themselves. It’s such a privilege raising these little humans. 😊💗

Nov 19: Monday is laundry day so we usually just stay in. When I was helping Jack get dressed that morning I said, “Choose some comfy trousers. We’re just staying home today.”
“Oh good! I love staying home!”
“You do?”
“Yes! Because I can play a lot. And help you a lot. And cuddle with you.. and talk to you. And do all those things with you.”
I smiled and hugged him. He laid on my lap and continued, “And you can do all those things too that you like to do when we’re at home.”
“You’re right, Jack. I love staying home too.”
Right up there on the list of moments I want to remember forever.
