This is my process for Oliver Harper's retrospectives website banner.

First I received notes from Olly about which the general approach of the banner 'Big and spacy with loads of characters' . I started to pencil with this in mind on Manga Studio.

Following the first draft and further notes, I went ahead and started inking on Manga Studio (which I have been using for a month or so now) I am still finding my feet with the program, but can already see the positive effect that it has on my work. Note how the first image is me plugging in the sign on the right and the second image is Ollie. I had to ask him for reference of him looking stupid which was fun.

After Inking I resend to Olly and then I start colouring on Photoshop. After many hours of second guessing myself the final image is completed. Apart from Ollie asked for a death star to be in the background and I felt like shouting at him for a second but didn't (freelance tip #1) and I submit to the website.

That is pretty much it. (I have also attached a copy of what I asked Ollie to replicate)
