Traitor ~ Jack Grealish

Prompt: Traitor - Olivia Rodrigo

"Get up." Mason pulls the cover off me.

"Nope." I shake my head, staying laid in the bed that has felt significantly bigger in the last two weeks. After sharing a bed with Jack almost every night for the past year and a half, sleeping alone felt worse than ever.

"You can't lay here feeling sorry for yourself." Mason shakes his head opening the curtains.

"Mason." I groan as I cover my eyes.

"Get up." He repeats grabbing at my hands trying to pull me up.

"I knew what he was doing you know. I knew he was talking to her the last three months of our relationship." I tell him.

"Exactly. You seen it coming." He walks to the wardrobe picking out a pair of jeans and a jumper.

"I'm not getting dressed." I shake my head.

"You're not sitting here all day." He tells me as he walks into the connecting bathroom turning the shower on.

"Why are you doing this?" I groan.

"You can't let a break up get you down. Jack moved on. Now it's your turn." He walks back in pulling the sheet off my cover before making his way to the pillows.

"No." I pull Jack's pillow back off him but he tugs it straight back out of my grip.

"I'm not letting you hold onto him." He tells me pulling the pillow out and throwing the cotton filled with Jack's scent with the rest of the bedding.

"I loved him at his worst and this is how he repays me?" I sigh.

"He didn't deserve you." Mason shrugs as he pulls me off the bed before pulling the bottom sheet off, throwing it onto the pile he'd created next to the door.

"Does he love her?" I ask.

"Y/N..." Mason begins.

"No because I asked him. I asked him about her and he told me I was paranoid and they were just friends." I sigh.

"Get in the shower." Mason smiles sympathetically.

"I didn't know he was coming." Mason turns to me as we see Jack sat with the girl he promised me meant nothing to him.

"It's okay." I shake my head.

"You two should talk." Mason tells me before walking towards their table.

"Y/N." Jack looks up and spots me rushing after Mason.

"Jack." I force a smile and he just frowns at me.

"I'll get you a drink. Come to the bar with me?" He nods towards the bar in the corner.

"Sure." I nod.

"I'll be nearby." Mason squeezes my hand quickly before going to talk to other people.

"You look good." Jack smiles at me, awkwardly.

"You look like you've moved on." I frown.

"Listen. I know you're probably..." He begins.

"You're never going to feel sorry for this are you? We've been broken up for two weeks, Jack. God I wish that you had thought this through before I went and fell in love with you." I sigh frustrated.

"Y/N..." He frowns.

"No. You betrayed me. You may not have cheated, but to me you'll always be a traitor." I shake my head, blinking away the tears before walking out the room.

"Y/N." I hear Jack's voice calling after me, but I continue walking until I finally get out of the building. I take a breath of fresh air as I feel my lungs open back up, no longer suffocating at the presence of Jack Grealish. I smile to myself, proud that I finally stood up for myself, before continuing to walk as far as my feet will take me.

Chapter 15 - reunited

Soon enough the weekend rolled around, it felt like it had been an eternity.

Ellie was stood at her kitchen window looking out onto her rain soaked drive, she felt like her heart explode when she saw Jacks car pull up.

She watched as he ran from the car to her front door, she also shot off to the door to greet him.

"Come here princess" Jack called out as Ellie opened the door, her arms instantly snaking around his neck and he's finding their place on her hips, "fuck me, have I missed this!" He confessed, Ellie ran her fingers through the ends of his hair, "I missed you so much Jack" she said from the bottom of her heart, Jack saw the emotion she showed and pulled her closer before burying his face into her neck, the couple stood in the doorway in their embrace for a few moments before Ellie told him "we best make a move, I can't wait for this weekend to start", Jack smiled at her as he grabbed her suitcase and lead her to the car.

Ellie's thought her heart physically swelled in her chest when ever she was around him, she had been thinking about their relationship all week, she already knew she was falling for him but when she saw him again in person she realised she couldn't be without him again.

This week had been torture for her, she had been left heartbroken on so many occasions, first she went for a meal with Jess and Jamie, it was just a normal meal that they do once a week, something they had always done, but this one was different, Jess and Jamie weren't PDA kind of people but when they were laughing at each other's jokes or Jamie calling Jess 'Babe' really hit a nerve, she wanted that, she wanted to be able to go for random midweek meals with Jack, she wanted for him to call her babe around her friends.

Then seeing couples going shopping hit her hard too, just casually walking around holding hands and chatting, just simple stuff but knowing she had to wait all week to do that with her man didn't seem fair.

It played on her mind all week, so by Friday she had convinced herself to talk to Jack about her worries.

The couple enjoyed the car ride, Jack's hand sat comfortably on Ellie's thigh, her hand on top of his, leaning in for a kiss when ever he stopped at a red light.

This was perfect for Ellie, every little detail she had missed all week was happening.

Before long they arrived back at Jack's house, "ah my happy place", Ellie said as she stepped out of Jack's car, he smiled lovingly at her and went to grab her case from the boot.

Ellie's eyes shot to Jack when she heard barking coming from inside Jacks house, he laughed at the concern on her face, "ah ye sorry babe, my dog is here this weekend, My mum doggie sat for me last week, I asked her to have her because I didn't know if you was a dog person or not", Ellie smiled, "what! I love dogs!, open the door I need to meet her!", Jack laughed at Ellie as he carried her luggage to the door.

Once the door opened his dog Skye ran to him and began to lick his hands before noticing Ellie, once their eyes met she pounced on her and began licking her hands, Ellie loved the dog kisses and bent down to Skye's level to stroke her, "hello beautiful girl, I can see why daddy kept you a secret, your perfect, yes you are!", Ellie told the cockapoo, Jack smiled down lovingly at Ellie, there hadn't been one thing about her yet that he didn't like.

"Come on girls your going to get cold" Jack told Ellie and Skye as he walked into the house and the girls followed him.

Jack sat Ellie's suitcase down on the kitchen floor before turning to Ellie and lifting her up onto the counter, he made his way between her legs, his big hands gently squeezing the top of her thigh and began leaving kisses on her neck, "mmm you have no idea how much Iv missed you babe", Ellie bit her lip in excitement, the heat rising between her legs, she wanted him so bad, but she wanted to enjoy his presence first.

Jack looked Ellie in the eyes, they looked glazed, "everything ok babe?", he asked her, genuinely concerned, Ellie rubbed her thumb over his chin and gave him a small smile, "ye babe I am now", Jack placed his forehead against hers and rubsbed the side of her face, "what's going on princess?" He asked her, "Iv just really missed you Jack" Ellie told him meaning it more than Jack knew, he picked her up with his hands firmly on her bum and carried her over to the sofa before laying her down and slumping beside her, "ahh ... iv needed this all week" Jack said as he rested his head on her breasts.

Jack and Ellie had a nice chilled night and before long the morning rolled around. Jack woke up early to prepare for the game, he left Ellie in bed as she looked too comfy to disturb.

Kick off was at 2 so Jack would be leaving at 12, he was just giving Skye some fresh water when she suddenly ran in the opposite direction to him, confused, Jack turned to see what got Skye's attention, he was greeted by Ellie laid on the floor  playing with Skye, Jack made his way over to Ellie and looked down at her beauty, smiling and laughing with his dog made him fall for her even more, Jack joined Ellie on the floor but couldn't resist touching her, he places his knees between Ellie's legs and lifted one of her legs up with his knee, next he grabbed her hands and held them above her head before placing kisses on her neck, "mmm good morning Mr Grealish" Elle said seductively, "it is a good morning when it starts with this on the kitchen floor", Jack told her before moving from her neck to her lips.

The couple enjoyed a steamy workout on the kitchen floor, before Ellie had to dash to get ready so they were on time for the game.

Ellie met her friends in the stands, obviously they weren't in the nose bleeds, Jack got them tickets near the families.

Ellie watched the man of her dreams running around the pitch, she had been lucky enough to see him play for villa at leeds last year but seeing him now has a completely different feel, knowing that an hour ago they were sweating and rolling around on his kitchen floor.

At half time Jack looked over at Ellie and winked as he jogged towards the tunnel.

"EL! He's in love babe I'm telling you!" Jess told her best friend as she smiled from ear to ear, "oh come off it Jess! We've only been ... what ever this is for a few weeks", Ellie laughed it off, not realising want she had said to her friends, "hold up! You mean you haven't even labelled anything! No, El come on!", Ellie shook her head in protest, "it's not like that, it's press and stuff Jess it's nothing personal, we've spoke about it and I'm fine, he's fine, it's all good" she said giving her friend a reassuring smile which had zero effect, Jess was royalty pissed off.

The second half was well under way, villa were winning 3-1 to Man City, the boys were playing amazing, the sun was out and the crowd were on form chanting "SUPER, SUPER JACK. SUPER, SUPER JACK, SUPER JACKY GREALISH!!".

Ellie, Jesica and Jamie were chatting and watching the match when the final whistle blew, Ellie jumped up and cheered for her man earning a wink from him.

As the crowd dispersed Ellie waited behind to see Jack, her friends waiting with her as to not leave her alone, after about 30 minutes he came running out of the tunnel and Ellie climbed over the barrier in-front of her, "well done Jack you played amazing!" She said as she threw her arms around his neck, "had to show off knowing my girl was here didn't I", he teased causing Ellie to giggle, the couple stared at each other for a few moments before Jess coughed remind them that her and Jamie were still there, "shit ye sorry guys, Jack you remember Jess and Jamie from Kals wedding?" Ellie said, completely forgetting they were there, "ye I do, hi guys, Theban for coming I hope you had a good time", Jack said as he put his arms around Ellie's waist from behind and she laid her head on his chest, "yeah we've had a good day thanks for inviting us", Jamie told us noticing Jess was still a tad pissed off, "come with me Il walk you out the quick way saves you bumping into the villa fans" Jack told the group.

The group were walking through the stadium when Jess noticed Ellie talking to Jamie so she took her chance and caught up to Jack, "alright Grealish, can I have a word please?" She smiled and asked him politely, Jack looked back at Ellie worried but told Jess "yeah corse", "I know you really like her, I'm not here to be mean, I can see that, I'm not blind, but iv been with her all week as usual, except she's not her usual self Jack, she's missed you so much it's been painful, and before you say about the press I get it I do, we had the same trouble with Kal and Ash years ago, he didn't want to involve her in this lifestyle but he got so close to loosing her because he kept her at arms length all the time, I just don't want that to happen to El, she's so special Jack, but I bet you already know that." Jess ranted on to him, Jack was polite and let her rant and get it off her chest before speaking.

"Jess she's amazing, I can't even deny that, she's so special, she's just perfect. If it was up to me she would be by my side 24/7, it's killed me this week been away from her, I haven't even told her because there are so many reasons I don't went to rush this. She's independent and has her own career, you know her better than me and I already know she's not a typical 'WAG', she doesn't need me to be her amazing self and I think if I made her be all for me she would loose all that and I don't want her to, she's made herself such a perfect life, I want to fit into that not make her fit into mine" Jack confessed, this shocked Jess, in good way, "wow Jack that was the sweetest thing Iv ever heard, she told me you haven't even labelled your relationship, she explained it was all ok but I think she was lying to me, just please promise me you will show her what she means to you, she's perfect and I want her to see that", Jess told him with such concern for her best friend, "I plan to Jess don't worry" Jack told her before he turned back to Ellie and Jamie.

"Right guys your car is just up the stairs, mines down here, thank you again for coming and keeping this one company" he said pulling Ellie close and kissing her temple, Ellie kissed his cheek before going over to her best friends and hugging them goodbye, "il see you Monday guys!" She said as they walked up the stairs to their car.

Ellie watches them walk off then she felt Jacks arms snake around her belly and his lips on her neck, "You ok baby" he asked her, "mmhm but I need you to do me a favour" she told him, Jack scrunched his eye brows, "erm ye ok", his mind going back to then last time she asked for a favour, "car ... now" is all she said.
