[Jackie Grey officially has a storefront open in Goodneighbor!  It’s called Out of the Closet because if there’s two things you need to know about Jackie, it’s that he’s gay and he likes puns.  Jackie doesn’t have the caps for premium shopfront space, so it isn’t on the main shopping street but is instead on a side street.  Jackie bought the place for cheap because the previous owner was gunned down in the shop over gambling debts and the place is trashed.  Jackie’s put a lot of work into restoring the place and trying to hide the bullet holes.  The shop is on the main level and he lives above it; there’s also a cellar where he can store food and/or supplies.  There’s a sign outside the shop (bright and colorful) designed by Jackie’s daughter Lucy.

Jackie does repairs, alterations, custom commissions, and is selling his remaining stock of pre-war clothing and jewelry at a premium rate.  He does pretty steady business doing work with the Watch and also making outfits for showgirls and the like.  He has a number of ready-to-wear merchandise in his shop (dresses, socks, scarves, shirts, etc.) and tries to make up for the overall lack of space by trying to cram as much stuff as he can in the space.  Jackie’s inclined towards bright colors (as bright as he can get with natural dyes, anyway) and he loves tie-dye.

The living space is not the biggest but Jackie’s been living in a one-room hotel room for the past year, so in comparison, it’s great.  There are two bedrooms: one for Jackie and a larger one for the kids.  Avery is theoretically supposed to sleep in the big room with Prudence but he’s easily frightened by scary noises (and honestly most things in general) and gets nightmares, so he’s mostly just been crawling in with his dad every night since coming to Goodneighbor...which is fine with him because he’s really, really missed his kids.  His kitchen is small but serviceable, absolutely none of his furniture matches, there’s a nice rag rug for his puppy to curl up on, and most of the place is taken over by Avery’s toys, neat bottles that Jackie found, and random trinkets.

Jackie’s got a teacher lined up for Prudence but she hasn’t started yet.  In the meantime, you can occasionally see her in the shop helping him with the paperwork side of things (Jackie is mostly illiterate), but she’s mostly down the street with her mother during the day.  Jackie wants to wait until Avery’s a little older (and can sit still longer than five minutes) before starting school, so on the days when Jackie has him, you can see him in the shop behind the counter where Jackie can keep a closer eye on him.  Jackie doesn’t want his tiny five year old doing any actual labor around the shop, but Avery got upset that he didn’t have an official job title like his dad, so Jackie told him he’s in charge of tying bows.  Avery approaches bow-tying as his solemn, sacred duty.

There’s sometimes a dog in the shop!  Her name is Banjo and she has floppy ears and she loves you.]

I feel like I go on a hiatus and post an “I’m back” post every few months 😅 so here it goes, I took a step back from practicing due to mental health but I’m back and working on re-establishing my practice and kharis with the Theoi. I’m still a godspouse except to a different god and I changed my name on here and that wraps up this hiatus post lol

wow i have not been here in a hot minute

I am debating making this my main again (altho my main is affiliated with my art sideblog ;-;).  I’m really picking this side of what i do back up and might just reblog my art here from here on out.  i wanna be more active here since i’m picking this aspect of things back up.  idk.

in other news i am having a homie commission a Lilith vrchat avatar for me in exchange for some art im doing for their vr world, as well as a Nightshade avatar!!! so hella fuckin excited to finally live the life of my bitch >:) even if it is just in vr chat. ye btw i am now addicted to vr chat.

hey y’all I’m temporarily stopping being a piece of shit and actually going through my blog ???!!!

I’ve totally let myself go- I used to weed through all the posts and add them to various masterlists, but I’ve been soooooooo behind that it just overwhelms me lol

I’ve started with weeding through/unfollowing inactive blogs of over like one year, so I’m going to be reblogging a lot of those masterlists and other content from them before I unfollow

(I haven’t put it up yet, but I have an actual google spreadsheet filled with every fic, headcanon, EVERYTHING in the fandom I’ve come across, sorted by type of post- edit, fic, etc- pairing, personal headcanons, movie headcanons and meta, literally EVERYTHING you can think of wanting. It’s a work in progress but I’m hoping it will be up soon!!!

I made a new tab in the document for awesome blogs that have become inactive, just in case I or anyone wants to see them too ❤️)
