"you're not listening to me, jackie.." ford groaned out of frustration, at this point practically pacing back and forth. "this is getting out of hand. i was supposed to be your bodyguard, your chauffeur.. your.. whatever. but whatever this is.." he trailed off, trying his hardest not to show his emotions but doing a terrible job at it. "it's getting too close for comfort, and it doesn't help that i... that i actually love you." he realized the words falling from his lips could get him in even deeper trouble than already being fired, but he couldn't take back what he said.

     upon seeing jackie, emmeline was unsure what the say. she had lost her sister yet nathaniel’s daughter had somehow managed to be one of the lucky ones. she had by no means come out of it unscathed but she had come back from death, multiple times in an unnatural way. her power control regressing was a cause for concern and her incident with louis made her feel like her days here were numbered. it was always conditional and they couldn’t have an essex threatening the safety of others; whether it was intentional or accidental didn’t matter. little colour remained in the woman’s face as she sluggishly moved around the institute, avoiding as many eyes as possible. however, she couldn’t do that with jackie. the woman was admirable, the way she was helping, no, training others... emmeline couldn’t understand how she could do it after such a tragedy. the woman wanted to say ‘sorry about your sister.’ but instead she chose to just look at the woman, it forming into a stare before she shuffled and averted her gaze.

‘ jackie? encontrou com @tequilh​ enquanto descia e subia a escaria do prédio repetidamente mesmo já cansado. ‘ você não viu um filhote de gato laranja por aí? bem magrelo, parece desnutrido, não muito bonito também. pegou o celular mostrando a única evidência registrada da existência do animal. ‘ minha vó achou e resolveu ficar com ele, agora tá triste que o bicho desapareceu. um bem parecido já tá valendo.

fazia tempo que não falava com @tequilh​, e por mais que isso fizesse bem para superar seu crush, também sentia falta da amiga. havia pensado bastante nela quando passou o fim de semana em casa e tomou uma decisão que não saberia se era boa.  ‘ eu tenho uma surpresa pra você. só que tá na minha casa.
